A foundation that grew out of a workshop
We create accessible and affordable ways for disabled people to play, learn and connect — designed so everyone can take part.
A world where disability or circumstance never stands in the way of play.
How it started
Schools and organisations were struggling to find suitable products for the disabled people they work with. What was available was often too expensive, too fragile or too complicated. That led Pär Johansson to start making alternatives in his workshop. Allehop is the foundation now being formed around that work, with makers, volunteers, schools and professional partners.
What we believe
- Safety first. We never compromise safety for price, speed or features.
- Design with, not for. We listen to children, schools and carers.
- Keep it affordable. A good toy should be within reach of any school or family.
- Share what works. Where possible, we share designs and knowledge so good ideas can spread.
How a box is made
Every box starts as a drawing and a breadboard, and ends as wood, wiring and buttons that can take a hard press.

Dimensions worked out on paper first.

The electronics tried out on a breadboard.

Board and speaker mounted in the case.

Each button wired, then closed up.
The team
Designs and builds Allehop’s early prototypes and works with partners to turn real needs into practical solutions.

Stichting Allehop is being formed in the Netherlands. Our first boxes exist as prototypes, and we are building a board and a network of partners around them.
